Individual Counselling & Therapy
Sometimes life presents us with challenges that seem unmanageable on our own. It can be helpful to have a safe, nonjudgmental place to verbalize our thoughts and feelings. I strive to provide a safe and supportive place where you can explore your struggles and challenges, gain new understanding and skills necessary to make a positive change. Maybe you want to face fears and anxieties. Maybe you want to change patterns of behavior that are not fulfilling. Whatever your challenge might be, I will work to empower you and create lasting positive change.
I have trained in insight-oriented therapies, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I frequently utilize a mix of techniques from all these therapy approaches.
My services may be covered partially or fully by your health insurance or employee benefits plan. Check with your insurance provider about the provision of psychological services and/or psychotherapy. I work under the direct supervision of Registered Psychologist, Dr. Paulette Laidlaw (Clinical, Counselling and Rehabilitation Psychology).
